Today, we're giving you a peek into the elegant, real fall wedding of Cassidy and Cat. Captured by Maureen Cassidy Photography, this beautiful celebration held at the stunning Lageret was one to remember. Filled with seasonal colors like plums and olives, this fall wedding incorporated gorgeous floral designs by Flora Designs by Jamae, that are truly standout arrangements.
We were honored to work Cassidy and Cat on their custom wedding bands. Keep reading for some seriously gorg wedding inspiration!
The brides' engagement rings are of a design where a contoured (or curved) wedding band would be required if a sitting flush fit was desired. Cat's wedding band (left) featured milgrain beading around the edges of the band, and a wheat carved pattern on both the top and the sides of the band for a beautiful vintage-inspired aesthetic. It only required a slight curve of the band in order to fit snug with her engagement ring so there would be no gap.
Cassidy's band (right) required a more specific square shaped contour, and in order to ensure it fit perfectly with her engagement ring, we scanned it to ensure we had the proper measurements.
Then, design renderings (below) were sent to Cassidy to get her approval of the design before the next step, which is to grow a 3D wax resin of the band before it goes into production. This is an important step in the custom design process to ensure the client has the chance to try on this wax resin to make sure the overall style and design is to their liking. She was able to try this on with her engagement ring to ensure that it fit, and it was a success.
We matched the style of her engagement ring, which had some vintage inspired elements to it. Wispy and organic indented beading was etched throughout the band, and leaves were etched in, as well. We also placed a few gypsy-set (flush) lab-grown diamonds into the design as well to add some sparkle.
In about a month, both of their bands were made and delivered for their beautiful October wedding. Congratulations to both of them, and thank you to Maureen Cassidy Photography for sharing these photos!
