Blue + Pink Avant-Garde Wedding Inspiration

Then this photo shoot will be a breath of fresh air! Taking things to new heights, this team of creatives produced something wild and whimsical, yet modern and cool for Fancier Mag (and featured in Ruffled)! Featuring a strict pink and blue palette, these hues are soft and feminine, while incorporating 1980's interiors (pink marble, gaudy fabrics) and chic trends of today. Are you intrigued yet?!

The venue, Kimpton Journeyman in Milwaukee, provided a beautiful aesthetic and backdrop. For the modern bride-to-be, especially those that are art enthusiasts, we have a feeling you’re going to fall for these snaps from Twin Lens Weddings, planned to perfect by Elevate Events!

Case in point — this perfectly executed, wonderfully wild, ultra modern rooftop shoot at The Kimpton Journeyman! This unique shoot is a shining example of what Fancier Magazine is all about — crazy unique wedding ideas and seriously inventive event design.

The challenging mood board for this shoot included whacky 1980’s interiors (bizarre mirrored surfaces, pink marble, gaudy fabrics) and ultra-chic wedding trends (hand-painted greenery and sheer bridal socks). Our pals at Elevate Events and this team of wedding pros accepted the challenge, went to work and delivered SWOON-WORTHY results."

This is our favorite use of “millennial pink” yet! This unique palette of pink, baby-blue, silver and deep-plum is giving us both whimsical and rock-n-roll vibes (and we’re totally crushing). Kudos to Erika atFlowers for Dreams for her choice to forgo traditional greenery and opt for super on-trend, hand-painted elements instead.

Our Alexandria engagement ring and wedding band gave the perfect amount of "classic" to the mix of the fun and funky yellow gold of the floral jewelry. We also absolutely love the sheer, polka-dotted dress and cape from Alexandra Grecco. It's flirty, feminine, and perfect for those looking for something unique. 

Of course, we would be remiss to not talk about this gorgeous and breathtaking cake by Yield Bakehouse. With two tiers of marbled pink and stunning blue floral features by Flowers for Dreams, we think this cake is award-worthy.
